Visit to Iris

We cherish our hand written letters that arrive often from Iris in our post office mail box but a visit is always worth the drive. Iris has been my pen…

We could have charged admission! When you get my family all together on the 4th of July there is one guarantee…endless fireworks. Everyone brings boxes and bags full of their old stand by favorites as well as the newest and grandest pyrotechnics. Grandpa Sonny proclaimed it was our best year ever of fireworks at the farm. Logan with his “Careless…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
