Mt. Rushmore

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

We had the “All-American” vacation when we paid a visit to Mt. Rushmore late last week. As Nathan read from the highway sign about Mt. Rushmore “A 30 minute visit, a lifetime of memories.” We took a road trip to visit our friends the Swenson’s who live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. After visiting Mt. Rushmore we spent…

Hunter’s baseball team won the league championship on Saturday. After spending a week at Cooperstown Bible Camp, Hunter was a little anxious about playing because he had missed practices but quickly was calmed when he had a hit and scored in the first game. Games were at 9AM, 10:30AM and 3PM and it got more windy with each game. Grandma…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
