New baby visit

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

Our girls are in a baby stage. They care for their doll “babies” all the time. The babies go with us on outings and are cared for like their own. But the best babies are…real ones. And this afternoon our girls got a visit from a new “real” baby. Our local friends had their first born three weeks ago and…

Planning Valentine’s Day recipes & a meal

While I don’t think all the hoopla of Valentine’s Day is always necessary, it is a good day to give a few extra hugs and kisses and share some good food together. I was thinking ahead today that Valentine’s Day on Tuesday this upcoming week is going to be hectic because of Hunter’s local Science Fair. We’ll have to share…

Our girls love visits to our small library and are diligent at returning…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
