If you click on one of the above pictures, you can make it full screen and can probably feel at least a sliver of the excitement and sheer joy Elissa felt in her new froggie splashing pool. (And read the fine print on the pool, “No Diving”.)
Elizabeth is a spirited seven month old and so much fun for us. Singing and splashing are two of her favorite activities. Sleeping is one of her least favorite activities. She loves to play with toys which can be anything from her baby doll to blocks to measuring spoons. Having her daddy read her books is another favorite past time–right up there with eating. She is not very picky about her cuisine just like her big brother. And Elissa has been given some interesting combinations that I create in our new Beaba Baby Cook. So far her favorite is peach-plum-banana but also doesn’t mind helpings of squash, carrots or green beans. (Yes laugh dear friends at me who you never thought would take the time to make homemade baby food.) At the end of a meal, she gets a “Baby Mum Mum” listed as a “rice rusk” on the box. We tell her it is a “cookie”. I wish I could be fooled to eat rice cakes instead of cookies. This week Elissa’s most significant milestone is moving into a new car seat for big girl babies who weigh more than 20 lbs. No more infant seat.

You must be taking the week off or something because you are doing such a great job at posting! Love it! Can’t believe no more infant seat…we will be there soon as well!
