WW Linky & Giveaway: Grandpa Walks Like Santa

Filed Under: Misc. Tagged With: wordless Wednesday 9 Comments

In years past Santa has actually climbed out of our chimney into our living room. This year Miss E didn’t think Santa would be traveling as easily on his sleigh with no snow. Santa just rang in the doorbell and stopped by for a visit after our church service on Christmas Eve. He was about to embark on a very…

But even with plenty of butter eating, Christmas on the prairie has been a bit different.  We’ve been celebrating with out snow. It didn’t even freeze last night. Normally we spend hours during Christmas…

Christmas is full of family time for us today. It’s an exceptionally happy, fun loving and an easy going day. I haven’t always been so overwhelmed with joy each Christmas as I am this year. I know I have friends that are struggling with loneliness and loss today. When I look back at Christmas time in my past I felt…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
