Filed Under: Family Values, Small Town Sports 2 Comments

We were in a small town on the North Dakota prairie. Teams from as far as 120 miles away were at the meet. I was able to…

Wordless Wednesday: Track Season

Filed Under: Small Town Living Tagged With: small town sports, track season Leave a Comment

We are in the full swing of track season. Last night as I was trying to prevent Miss A from running on the track while her brother ran the 400 meters and I was shouting, “Get him! Kick now. Go, go, go! Go now!” I took the above picture with my iPhone in the midst of the chaos. It might be my…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
