3 Prairie Dwelling Must Have Children’s Books

This is my second installment of books I give as gifts. I realized at Christmas that I give a lot of books as gifts and decided to blog about it. Every day and night at our house we read to our children. The teenager has his own reading time before bed and I am constantly purchasing books for him. That…

Feasting & Fireworks (In the Farm House)

For the past ten days, I have not worked…other than a few year end wrap items and simply enjoyed family while feasting. I have really had little to do. Every detail was done. Frosty Welcome & Farewell

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: frosty trees, North Dakota, North Dakota weather, prairie life 6 Comments

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
