When you literally hit the wall

When you literally hit a brick wall…your teeth need a heavy metal wire to hold them together and to get them back in place. Hopefully they will stay in place and not die off but we will wait to see. In case you have been out of touch with us during the past two years (rare if you are reading this blog)…the news flash is that Nathan jumped off the corporate wheel in July 07. He traded in suits, ties, weekly travel and corporate perks to take on the most fulfilling career, working alongside his dad in their family owned…

Not the end of the long winter…

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

It’s Saturday night. The last day of February. Did any of you wonder why it’s been my longest time away from the Pinke Post this year? To say it has been a hectic week is an understatement. Normally when I travel I set up posts ahead of time. This week that didn’t happen. I’ll catch up this next week. Plus…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
