Wordless Wednesday: No Need For A Play House

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family, sisters 11 Comments

It’s Wordless Wednesday. Below is a link up for you to share a photo or if you are feeling wordy, share a  “wordful” wednesday post. Visit a few others that link up and enjoy a Wordless Wednesday.
This is as wordless and peaceful as our young daughters get.
But usually they are more like this…
playing in their new favorite play house, my vehicle. I thought they would need a play house. But instead they think playing house in my car is fabulous.
I potted 14 flower, herb and vegetable planters while they played, parked in the driveway, next to me, earlier this week.
I hope they always love each other as friends and play mates as much as they do now.
What was your favorite play house or hide out as a kid?
Share your Wordless Wednesday link up below and be sure to visit others. If you are a new follower, please let me know and I’ll stop by to follow you as well. Happy WW! Linked up with a few favorites today.

This sure brings back some good memories. My kids used to play in my van when they were little. I’d lay the seats down for them to have more room. Kids and their imaginations!

Little Sissy likes to play in the van. She likes to go in sit in Bubby’s booster seat and put on the real seat belt as opposed to her car seat.

Remember the hours we spent in my mom’s red car and your mom’s little station wagon? My boys also love playing in the car.

My favorite playhouse as a kid, by far, were the chicken houses {barns} to roller skate and ride bikes in…and they’re still standing at my mom and dad’s:) Great memories!

My car is a our play house too! I usually can get the garage swept out, groceries unpacked or other chores done, without a peep from the kids. Yesterday though, I accidentally left my keys in the car. Our youngest locked the doors and I almost had a heart attack. Luckily, he was able to unlock the doors. 🙂

    You girls are just precious!
My favorite place to play was when my Mother hung the sheets on the line(and sometimes she would hang them over the line even when they didnt need washing;)
Running and sitting underneath the cool flapping sheets on a warm summer day was like a wonderland for me:)

I seem to remember draping a sheet over the dining room table and playing under it. So much fun!

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
