Football Season Wrap Up

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: athletics, football 5 Comments

Hunter’s last football game of the season was this week.
The game was back and forth and for the first time since the first game of the season our boys were losing.
It was 78 degrees at the 5PM kick off and there was a warm breeze. Truly an amazing October evening!

Our Mustang boys fought back in the second half and with a few minutes left in the game there were smiles on the sidelines.

Final Score: Mustangs 42. Pirates 22
This wrapped up a 6-1 season for our junior high football team, with six straight wins since their two point loss to the Lions on August 30.
Smiling #55 was the highlight of the game for us.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
