Accolades for our small business & my husband

Filed Under: Family Values, Small Town Living Tagged With: family business, Pinke Homes, small business owners 4 Comments

While I rarely toot the horn of my husband around this blog and he doesn’t like any “mushy stuff” as he often says, I have to brag. He is featured among the…

In the beginning of this blog…5 year anniversary

Five years ago today, I posted my first ever blog entry about the roof going up on our house. Five days later I gave birth to Miss E aka Elizabeth Carolyn Jane aka Elissa.  She turns 5 years old this week.  Five years ago, Hunter’s dream finally came true. He was a big brother. Tonight the big brother debuts with…

We have a cozy treat during the snowy prairie season. We also have this treat when we decorate for Christmas. I also serve this special drink at the…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
