The 3 StitchFix Gift Card Winners Are…

A pink tractor is not a mode of transportation in my planned travel today but I would prefer it.  My alarm went off at 2:20 a.m. this morning. I drove 92 miles to the airport, flew to a big ol’ city, rented a car and drove to a meeting. I checked my blog entries for this fabulous StitchFix giveaway and…

StitchFix: Affordable Personal Styling & (3) $50 #StitchFix Gift Cards Giveaway

I live 100 miles from a shopping mall but I buy most anything I can locally in our small town of 1000 people. Like my Rock and Roll Cowgirl jeans at the local Western Shop. Or I drive 27 miles to our neighboring town to my favorite consignment shop, Nita’s Attic, sometimes to purchase but this winter it was to…

Favorite Things With Favorite People: More Than A Game

Do you ever wonder why parents and kids put so much time and money into athletics? After all, it is just a game. 1% of kids playing high school sports will get scholarships for college. Sure there are life lessons but why all the intense time and focus on sports? It’s just a game. It’s just sports. I blogged in…

Mother-In-Laws Are Underrated

I never thought I would be living on the North Dakota prairie just minutes away from my husband’s parents but the past seven years have proven to be full and rewarding because of the role my father-in-law and mother-in-law have played in our everyday lives. Today is my mother-in-law, Carol’s birthday. Tonight we will celebrate with some grilling, leftovers from…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
