Orange balloon

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

Hunter brought home a “punching balloon” as he called it from school on Wednesday that he received as award in class. We blew it up and it became Elissa’s absolute favorite toy. It is fairly deflated this morning but has provided 36…

A couple days off

Elizabeth discovered the pantry as a playground last night. I had a bunch of small bags of chips left over from Hunter’s birthday party. And they were great toys…until Elissa got her teeth into them and had her first taste of Cheetos. She of course wanted the whole bag and that was not a good idea. I happily voluntarily ate…

Pianist

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
