Love is alive

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family 5 Comments

Last night after taking the girls and three friends to Tae Kwan Do we came home to complete our Valentine’s for the girls to bring to daycare today. They are far from homemade…more like TJ Maxx specials my mom found for us. But they are decorated with love.

This is the most decorating with love I got done, a few tea cups with candles as a centerpiece…and frosting a few cookies (which my mom made).

The loves of my life are three children and a husband that are my core to my being along with an amazingly loving family and a fabulous network of friends. Valentine’s Day is a day I can take a little extra time to remember those that I love.

Those that I love are growing up too fast…just two years ago…they looked like this on Valentine’s Day…

Babies become toddlers. Toddlers become big girls.

Big boys grow up to be taller than their Dad. Through it all, love is alive and I am so thankful for love.

What’s your favorite love song? Love is Alive by The Judd’s is a classic song that I love.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Lovely. And yes, they definitely do grow up way too fast.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
