Quiet day on the farm

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: children, family farm Leave a Comment

It is a quiet Saturday on the farm.
The cool and rainy weather has the guys in from fieldwork. Planting is finally complete but spraying is next. With a Saturday off, Uncle Joe gave Anika a walk around to meet Sheyenne and see the tractors in the yard.
Elizabeth has showing cattle in her jeans and definitely is practicing on Butler dog.
She even is working on her grooming techniques.
A quiet day on the farm is not for long because E found the maracas.
She will be practicing her music until nap time…which thankfully for all of us is very soon.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
