Happy Sunday

We love Sundays. Dressing up two little girls for church is fun. But mostly the family time is wonderful.
E and I found a new dress in her closet for her to wear today. Thanks Mayme for those bargains you bring us.

Elissa’s Sunday routine is to go to Nana and Gpa’s house after church. Today she came over with them for brunch to our house and was proud to display her freshly painted fingernails. Nana always has perfectly manicured nails and thankfully she is teaching our daughter to have the same, not something she will learn from her mama.

Hunter literally has just walked in the front door from another basketball tournament. They lost in the championship game last night in Wahpeton. He was bummed. It is their first loss since early December. But now Nathan and he are getting ready to go out for a sunny Sunday afternoon snowmobile ride.
And…
Hunter wanted all of you to see how tall he is getting. As you can see Anika is quite impressed with her brother being almost as tall as Daddy which means Hunter and I are neck and neck in the height war. I think I still have him beat but he is surely going to pass me soon.
Happy Sunday!

When did Hunter turn 16? I can’t believe how old he is looking. Have the girls starting call yet?

Oh my goodness, I have to come visit and soon! They are all looking so different than they were in January! Six feet…wow.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
