Visit to the farm

Filed Under: America's Farm Table, Misc. Tagged With: agriculture, baby, farm 2 Comments

Elizabeth getting comfortable at quilting with the Lutheran ladies…Mama Jane on the far left and I brought Elissa for a visit to Great-Grandma Nola’s weekly quilting time at the church. The ladies were very anxious to meet Elissa and thrilled with our surprise visit to them.
Mama Jane brought Elissa and me home to Wishek today after our visit to the farm. Hunter was happy to have his mommy and baby sister home…and Elissa was tired from her travels. Tonight Nathan is rocking Elissa to sleep and enjoying every minute of it. Nathan and Hunter had not seen Elissa since Sunday night when they left the farm and they are sure she has grown…especially in her chubby cheeks!

An early morning visit with Great Grandma today

Elissa attended her first basketball game last weekend…watching Uncle Joe.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
