Link Up For Wordless Wednesday: Sweet Spring Girls

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: North Dakota weather, prairie life 6 Comments

The weatherman keeps repeating “the conveyor belt of snow is coming through North Dakota”. But this morning ahead of any snow, it was raining. Miss E decided there would be no more winter coats and hats at our house. She marched up to the closet where I had been storing new Spring rain coats for Miss A and her, ripping off the tags.
And their Spring debut kicked off…

Have you seen any happier Spring girls (amidst a snowstorm) in your life?

I love the rain jackets! I’m still bummed my girls haven’t outgrown last year’s models. I want to buy new ones!

Our girls are frolicing in the waves and sand this week, and are totally NOT happy about going home to highs in the area of 40.! Truth be told, I’m not too thrilled about it either!

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
