Thankful Thursday: Pink Hair, Green Nuk

Filed Under: Family Values, Motivated Moms Tagged With: family fun, working mom 3 Comments

Somedays life gets rocky and bumpy. You get thrown a curve ball or take a wrong turn. But at the end of the day, you can look around and be thankful for all that you have. One thankful moment this week came for me when I turned the corner in our hallway to find our little girls playing. They joyously greeted me with pink hair and tutus. (And Miss A had stolen her green nuk from her crib.)
I love their care free spirit and am so thankful that at the end of a long day I can fall back on my family to ease any silly stress I have allowed get to me. At the above particular pink hair and tutus moment, I sat down on the floor, put the girls in my lap and read two stories to them to capture the thankful moment.
What’s are you thankful for this Thursday?

How cute. I am thankful for my hubby and kiddo’s as well. When I have had a yucky day when they come kiss me or hug me or even the cute things they say can just lighten the load. I also LOVE when my kiddo’s sing praise songs when we are riding in the van. . .that brings smiles to my face and joy to my heart. Blessings to you.

Also thankful for my family. My kids seem to be growing and changing so fast. It really does fly by. Love that nuk! My daughter was the same with hers…except she called it her “peep-pie”.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
