Wordless Wednesday: All Because 59 Years Ago Today…

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family 3 Comments

Today must be a Wordless Wednesday. There are not enough words to truly express my gratitude, love and respect.
Plus I have a huge lump in my throat just from uploading these pictures.
All because farm boy grew up down the road from a younger sweet girl. They attended the same one room school on the prairie.
All because the farm boy came back from the war to find the young sweet neighbor girl was attending the same college as him, living in the sorority across the street from his fraternity.

All because they fell in love.
Happy 59th Wedding Anniversary to two of my most favorite people on this earth, my Grandpa Sonny and Grandma Nola.

Next year…there is going to be a party, whether you want one or not Grandma.
60 years of marriage deserves a grand ol’ party don’t you think?

Absolutley wonderful!! 59 years of marriage is truly something to celebrate as will be 60 years next year. My grandfather and my husband’s grandmother both died the year our grandparents would have celebrated their 50th anniversaries.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
