Frosty the Snowman debuts on the prairie

Filed Under: Family Values, Life in North Dakota Tagged With: family fun, prairie life 4 Comments

There could not have been a better day for snowman building than today. Miss E came in the door from being outside with Hunter and Nathan and said “Mommy, Frosty the Snowman is coming to our house!” And so he was. All 8 feet high of him in our front yard.
A new use for a Bobcat: Snowman building
Probably only on the prairie do you use your Bobcat to build a snowman!
Welcome to the prairie, Frosty!

How cute! Our snowman only lasted about 12 hours. But, it just started snowing again so maybe we’ll have enough for a new one. Stay warm and cozy!

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
