Anika came home this afternoon. It was a peaceful afternoon and evening for us. Nathan is taking good care of Anika and me. We rested and then Gma Carol made a hearty spaghetti supper for us. Both Gpa Eldon and Gma Carol got in plenty of snuggle time with Baby Anika in which she debuted…her open eyes. In talking with my Grandma Nola tonight, I promised to post a few pictures of our baby girl’s eyes.

Nathan went shopping for a “going home” out fit that Anika wore home from the hospital today. He found the perfect newborn sized pink with white polka dots dress along with a bunny friend for Anika! We will take a photo each month to compare Anika’s size with the bunny!
