Intense business…Hunter and Nathan putting up the railing on the deck
Miss E carefully watching on…she was not allowed out until everything was finished. She loves to say “deck” now. The finished result!
Auntie Lori visited for the weekend which added to our weekend fun. We enjoyed cheesecake and fresh berries as our first deck dessert last night, laughing together over past family stories and loving the beautiful evening on the deck.

And today we had a fun homemade brunch together at our house. We make brunch most Sundays we are home and have tried many brunch menus. We always have pancakes or french toast. I am partial to blueberry pancakes. The combination of fresh blueberries and some wheat flour makes for healthy pancakes. But Nathan requests his favorite each Sunday…chocolate chip pancakes. So this was his huge specialty pancake.
A living room lesson for Elissa from Daddy on t-ball after brunch today. It is sunny, warm and windy. The ball would blow off the tee outside. So E’s first hitting lesson was indoors. Then we all ventured out play in her “house” on the porch. I will post pictures later of her play house on the porch.
This afternoon Nathan is wrapping the final step on our master bathroom shower. Yes indeed I am excited. I just went and peeked and said “I love it!”. His response was “You better love it because I cannot take it out now.” Yes, I love it.
