Sunday Family Dinner

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family, family fun Leave a Comment

On Sunday after church we hosted a family brunch that included Nathan’s uncles and aunts from his mom’s side of the family. It was the first time we put in both leaves of our new table and I was happy that my table cloth fit. Now I didn’t iron it but at least it fit. Our next large family gathering will be at Thanksgiving when Auntie Lori from Wisconsin plus my family are all are coming to our house. Between Lori, Carol, my mom and grandma…my end of the cooking should be easy!

Nathan has two aunts named Carol–one on each side of the family–plus his mom. If you need something, ask a Carol and one of them is sure to be able to help.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
