The making of nineteen pies

From yesterday morning to this morning my mother made nineteen homemade pies. First came the fruit pies yesterday. Off the top of my head…Apricot, Juneberry, Blueberry, Pineapple, Rhubarb Strawberry, Rhubarb Raspberry, Peach, French Apple, Pumpkin, Sour Cream Raisin, Pecan and others. I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love.
