Unpacking books

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

Right now our storage room is empty so Nathan and his dad can finish building shelves and then we need to complete a major purging of “stuff”. It would be easier to just keep everything in those unmarked…

57th wedding anniversary

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

57 years ago today, my maternal grandparents were married in their home church where they still are members today. They grew up just down the road from one another in rural ND. Their families were friends and they attended school in the same one room school house. But Grandpa was five years older. It was not until he returned from…

Pumpkin head & Blue hair

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

I snapped this picture before last Friday night’s homecoming football game. Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
