Summertime Visits

The last week has been full of no set schedule but many visits, similar to our First Lady Michelle Obama’s vacationing in Spain I am sure. Only she has 70 staffers with her and I remain…staffless.  Instead of vacationing in Spain, we have stayed home and enjoyed our time together as a family in North Dakota. Some of our favorite…

Harvesting Together

The kids and I are enjoying the next few days with out any schedules on our family farm. But since our daycare provider decided to take a vacation,…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
