I didn’t accomplish all the blogging I wanted to get done in November. I still have things to blog about in the days of December. Monsanto has been on my mind. It’s churning actually. I must sit down and write. Food choices. What people think about farmers and how seed selection process happens. I am going to tackle it in the winter months. But you know what else I am going to tackle this winter in my blogging? Basketball. That’s right just a few days into December, our small town basketball season kicks off for our teenager Hunter and his team. They have a new coach too. We like him. You already know him on here but you will see more of him this basketball season. It’s my brother, Robbie who also lives in our small town now and teaches elementary school.
In the upcoming days of December I will share holiday decorating and my favorite Christmas party recipes as I get ready to host what has now become our annual Christmas party. We can talk the 12 Days of Christmas. My favorite is the 12th…only because it is my birthday.
But to close November, I leave you with 12 Days of North Dakota sunrises and sunsets. I captured each one on my iPhone from our North Dakota home on the prairie or pulled over on the side of the highway during my early morning or late afternoon 98 mile one way commutes.
You can leave your vote for your favorite in the comments anytime before December 9 and I will send a three random winners an enlarged print of your favorite!
1: North Dakota sunrise from our second story |
2: North Dakota sunset from our front porch |
3: South central North Dakota sunset |
4: Highway sunset |
5: Commuting sunrise on a crisp North Dakota morning |
6: Thanksgiving Eve sunset from our front yard |
7: Sterling, North Dakota sunset |
8: The Lawrence Welk Highway sunrise |
9: The sun goes down on what felt like a long day but this gave me peace. |
10: Touching heaven sunrise, just west of Wishek, North Dakota |
11: Hi-line pole sunrise. A lone rancher always seem to drive by when I get out on the highway in my heels to capture these shots. |
12: Snowy sunrise from our gravel road as I took the kids to daycare and school |
Vote for your favorite North Dakota November Sunrise or Sunset by leaving a comment and give yourself an extra entry by sharing it and tagging Pinke Post on Facebook! I will choose 3 random winners on December 9 and send you an enlarged print of your favorite.
Look for a new look next week as the North Dakota November wraps but more food, farming, family and photos in the days of December.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing these images on Facebook this past month. I was torn between 2 of the images #6 and #9. Both are the same view at different times. My favorite is #9 though with it’s calmer sky.
Thanks again for sharing! The North Dakota scenery is truly beautiful.

Oh, these are stunning! I’ve been going crazy and posting my own versions of the Fargo sunrise, sunset, but I think yours are really superior. I don’t have quite the landscape view from Fargo (though I have driven quite a ways in search of it…) These are all amazing but I’m going with #6 for my fav. 🙂
