Anika scoots

Do you see that Anika’s feet are blurred on this picture?
The newest change at our home is that Anika is mobile. She was getting anywhere she wanted to before by rolling around the room.
Now she is scooting.
This changes the dynamic now between Anika and her sister because suddenly Anika can get at Miss E’s things…like her baby dolls. This is E’s bitty baby who is also called Anika. Not to be confused with her other baby, Jared.
Anika is the sweetest, smiliest baby girl.
And she is quite proud of her scooting feat.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
