At our house, Daddy has an every other night routine with the girls.
It is bathtime!
He has his routine and the girls know it well…and love their Daddy bathtime.
And after bathtime, it is snacks and then books.
Anika no longer just sits back and watches as E reads with Daddy. Instead, she is right in there trying to turn the pages herself.
We know our special bathtime routine won’t last forever. We have a twelve year old boy to show us how time flies. Someday our girls will look back on their evening bathtime routine with their daddy and cherish the simple but yet special routine as much as their daddy already does.
