This morning I was able to visit cousin Mark and Sami and their newest addition, Taven Richard.
Baby Taven was born late Tuesday night, 57 minutes shy of sharing the same birthday as me. But he had to come back to the hospital yesterday to spend some time under the bright lights. Before he went home today again with his parents, I was able to snuggle him.
How quickly I forgot how little newborns are. Taven is especially cuddly and sweet. And I think he really looks like his daddy.
