***UPDATED Thursday afternoon: There is going to be a Caring Bridge site for Wade soon set up and when we have that information, I will pass it along to all of you.
We just learned our longtime family friend Wade is in critical condition. His heart stopped in the night and he is now on life support. The next 24 hours are critical. Wade needs a miracle.
Please pray.
Wade once was the winner of the Simmons scholarship and interned with my dad. (You UND alumni might remember Wade often in the talent show at Memorial Union!) From there, he developed a strong friendship with my mom, the songwriter. Wade often performed her songs. He of course is our favorite performer ever from the Medora Musical. Many of you attended shows with our family to watch Wade perform. Plus Wade was also our client for many years when my dad worked with him on advertising Medora. He has a beautiful wife, Lesley and two darling young kids, Hannah and Wyatt. Wade is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted men. When Elizabeth was less than 24 hours old, Wade, Lesley and the kids all showed up at the hospital to visit. We hardly knew anyone in Bismarck and it was so fun for them to think to visit us. Last year when Hunter did his project on the Burning Hills Amphitheater Wade made sure Hunter had every picture and bit of history to make it the most thorough 4th grade project.
