Santa’s Sunday helper

Filed Under: Uncategorized Leave a Comment

(Unedited photos are the best…like Nathan’s head completely cut off on this picture.)
She’s a charmer. Attacking me to try to get to Hunter who was entertaining to get Santa’s helper to stand still and smile!

On the goI think the pictures speak for themselves on how difficult it is to capture Elizabeth on camera these days. She used to make my pictures look good. Sitting and smiling. Now it is managed chaos. Regardless, she still made for a sweet Santa’s helper today. Her squeals and laughter brightens our day. Especially our Sundays in church! She will say “Hi” to anyone, whether they are in the pew ahead or behind us. Today our pastor during the children’s message asked for volunteers from the congregation and I placed Elissa in the aisle and she took off in her “fast walk” to the front. It was a fun moment. I suppose if she becomes too much of a distraction they will start having volunteers in the church nursery again! For now, she is definitely entertaining our congregation each Sunday morning.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
