With walking comes the need for “real” shoes and thanks to Zappos.com we can have shoes delivered to our front porch. Snow and wind and our street address (that does not show up in the UPS or Fed Ex systems yet) did not slow down the delivery. Elizabeth and I had a shoe trying on session in her room after the box arrived.
After trying on one pair, her patience ran out…this lack of patience is definitely inherited from both Nathan and me! Elissa managed to find a way to crawl her way off the rocking chair.
Doesn’t every girl need red shoes?
When Hunter was little he would have called these “fast shoes” and I am sure before long he will be teaching his little sister how to run fast in them.
Hunter has a couple days off from school and while I am traveling this week the kids get to spend a couple extra days at the farm and then will be home again with Mama Jane staying at our house for a day. Nathan has a night home alone tonight and when I called him he was cleaning the basement and garage. What a guy!
