Red shoes

Red shoes (just like red hats) are overrated and Elizabeth figured out how to get them off… Oh and matching socks…they are also way overrated. Teeth and dimples Elizabeth has four teeth…two on the bottom and two on the top. Soon to be four on the top…they are cutting through today and thankfully these new teeth are not creating havoc…

Porch finishing

Elizabeth’s first time on the porch A new place to play–our new front porch…with the hat I thought would be cute for a picture but ended up being a more fun toy. Sunday afternoon porch finishing Hunter had fun learning to use the nail gun. My mom bought some fall decorations last year on sale…specifically for the porch (because certainly…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
