Anika’s baptism, second edition

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: faith 2 Comments

Following Anika’s baptism and church service yesterday we had a large gathering of both Nathan and my extended families at our home. In usual fashion, it was a celebration and a true feast. We made two large meat and cheese trays for everyone to snack on while the main meal came together in the kitchen. I made sure I had…

Anika’s baptism, first edition

Today we celebrated Anika’s baptism. It was a day full of joy for our family. I felt a sense of peace and completeness I have never experienced before until today. Nathan agreed. We could not have asked for a better day in our church with our family alongside us. It was a day only God could perfectly orchestrate. The pictures…

Early weekday mornings

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
