Fun of a 21 month old on a water slide…(video)

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: North Dakota, prairie, rural life 5 Comments

Miss A found her size slide at the indoor water park we visited this past weekend. She did this routine about 147 times as quickly as possible. The video is just a minute long and you’ll hear me encouraging her to walk, walk, walk to avoid slipping while going to the slide.

My brother Joe caught her at the bottom.

She never tired and did this for a couple hours on Saturday and again on Sunday. I admire her determination.
I would have burned a lot of calories if I had joined her instead of standing to watch, video and take pictures!
This evening by 9PM CST I’ll have my Wordless Wednesday linky posted and you’ll be able to link up to join your Wordful or Wordless Wednesday post. Last night, our son and I captured a field full of snow geese while driving home from an academic contest he participated with a team from his school. The sun was shining and I had my camera. The snow geese are some of my new favorite photos and I can’t wait to share.
Our snow is melting and the sun is shining this morning. Enjoy your Spring day.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
