Today Elizabeth Carolyn Jane is 14 months old…she is a toddler. Busy, a chatter box and very sure she is in charge.
And Hunter is busy too. He practices piano, trumpet and goes to school early to shoot baskets. Over the next few weekends he has a jammed packed schedule, playing in a couple basketball tournaments with his former classmates from Fargo and has a school band festival.
This winter is so exciting…while this picture was taken from my car as I drove the kids to school/daycare one morning last week, it no longer looks like a winter wonderland as the picture portrays. Yesterday we had a sledding and snowmobiling extravaganza. It was sunny and beautiful–the perfect winter weekend fun day. Last night we received rain, more rain and then of all things in February in North Dakota…thunder and lightning. And today there is a thick layer of ice everywhere. It is an icy wonderland.
Busy! I feel that now…it is like a switch has flipped and that basically defines Rody…into everything- busy, busy, busy…can hardly get him to slow down to interact with us!
