Early morning buddies

Each school/ work day morning, Hunter and Elizabeth have their own time together. Brother and sister bonding time. Hunter entertains his sister by playing with toys with her along with the occasional trying to sneak in some Sports Center on ESPN. It is the time I need 10-15 minutes to quickly get myself ready so we can all get out…

Busy

Elizabeth has reached the stage we call “into everything”. She is always on the move and very busy. We are quickly “child proofing”. Having “child locks” on the cupboards are a necessity. She cleans them out the second I am not looking. I walked to put something into the oven and this is what I found 20 seconds later. Love…

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
