Have you seen all those perfect happy family pictures celebrating Easter shared in social media today? Well, here are ours but the not-so perfect version. But you can see the personalities of our kids through the photos. 
As Anika said her lines, her friend was celebrating next to her. Those two are going to be classmates for years to come. I can only imagine the excitement they will bring to our lives, even more than today.
I often joke I married a band boy. It’s true and today he brought back out his trombone, which he played all through college in a concert band, and played a couple of pieces in church. He sets an example for our kids and through all the reciting, singing and playing in Easter celebrating I was reminded of this Bible verse: “Train a child in the way he should go. When he is old, he will not turn away from it.” Proverbs 22:6
