WW: Imagination Library and the need for a win

Imagination Library has come to our small town school district. It’s Dolly Parton’s nationwide program. Through local fundraising of a few driven community volunteers, each child that signs up ages 0-5 gets a different book once a month. The books are theirs to keep and age appropriate.

Our girls love visits to our small library and are diligent at returning books each week but to now receive their own new books monthly will be a special treat.

Visits to the library will continue because if there is one thing we can never do enough of with the girls it is read to them.

Now we have a special blog request for all readers…Hunter and his Mustangs team need a few extra prayers this week. Encouraging thoughts. Cheers from a far. Any positive vibes. It’s district tournament time. A couple wins before a couple of losses are needed. We’ll be there to cheer him on…at the edge of our seats hoping for the best for our boys.

Until next time…enjoy the day.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
