Do you read a few blogs? 5 blogs? 20 blogs? Or more? I have family, food, farm, faith and photography fun blogs I read. Check out the columns to the right where my favorite list of farm and food blogs, other favorite blogs along with long time friends’ blogs. I cannot list all of them here today. But here is a quick run down in no particular order of 8 favorites of blogs from people I have never met in real life but love what they share. Each are unique women and are people I connect with a few times a week.
I’m an avid blog reader…who needs to color her roots. I love being blonde. |
Dakotapam of It’s Time for More Coffee
Pam lives “near” me in North Dakota and we have only “met” through Twitter but she is a mother of SIX children. She is a wife of a Lutheran pastor. I love her parenting point of view and her humor.
mountainmama
While MountainMama doesn’t live in the mountains anymore she is officially bringing her mountain lifestyle and living in Oklahoma where they have just relocated as a family of five. I love her honesty and authentic point of view. Mountain Mama doesn’t sugar coat and that is a rare thing I have found in reading blogs.
Two Bears Farm
Lisa is a similarly aged mom to me. She’s managing a family life, busy boys, a home and inspires me with her crafts and fitness plan.
The Run Around Ranch Report
TexWisGirl (Theresa) blogs daily with photos from in and around her Texas ranch. She blends in humor and wit with her photos. She is also a tremendous commenter on this blog and many others. Plus she once sent us some beautiful hummingbird art, a print and an original of her work. This blog is almost a daily read for me.
It’s a Smalltown Life
Farmchick blogs with stunning photography of country life, the South, antiques, homes and buildings. Plus she spent time growing up in North Dakota and I just connect with her blog even though she’s now in the South. Some of you know…I love the South!
Meanwhile back at the ranch…
Jessie is a western North Dakota cow girl, photographer, singer/ songwriter and hilarious writer. You don’t want to miss a post of Jessie’s on Veeder Ranch and some day I hope we meet in real life because I think we’ll be fast friends.
Project Alicia
I tend to love photography heavy blogs. Alicia resides in Iowa and her photography I connect with from her surroundings, to her kids and family life. You’ll love the beautiful captures Alicia shares.
liveandloveoutloud
Kristi who I know from Twitter as “Tweetingmama” and I connect through Wordless Wednesdays but I love how she is managing her busy family life with four kids. Her photography is wonderful. Her parenting style is solid and I like what she shares about her life in rural Missouri while being originally from Hawaii.
Linking up today with one of the blogs I have read the longest amount of time, Kelly’s Korner. She’s a staple to my blog reading habit! Her faith is bold and I’ve been reading for years through her two pregnancies and births of her daughters. She’s a Southern belle of a woman with charm and class.
