Link Up Wordless Wednesday: Spring Snow Geese Take Flight

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: North Dakota, prairie, prairie life, rural life 15 Comments

A true sign of Spring for me was seeing the Snow geese have returned. Capturing them taking off in flight yesterday was a favorite moment on the prairie for me. My son was with me and all he could talk about was how much fun it would be to be hunting at this very moment. I was thankful we weren’t hunting Snow geese and instead enjoyed the moment of serenity after a hurried evening.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
