How To Create Your Royal Name Before the Royal Wedding

I dreamed of once attending a Royal Wedding. As a young girl, I watched both Princess Diana’s and Sarah Ferguson’s weddings. I found both Prince Charles and Andrew to be a bore but the ladies were fascinating to me.
Early tomorrow I might opt for a little extra sleep and not watch the live Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton. But Kate and I share a name together. She’s a modern woman who intrigues me from the grocery store shelf magazine headlines.  I am not as fascinated as I once was a young girl but even so I still dream a little.
Such as…if Kate and I were friends in real life and if I was a Royal attending the big bash tomorrow, what would my Royal name be?
Katie wouldn’t cut it.
Thankfully a favorite blog of mine tonight answered that question for me.

5 Minutes for Moms posted a poll on whether you would watch the wedding tomorrow. Then in their Facebook status they posted:
Big wedding on Friday, Use your royal wedding guest name!! Start with
either Lord or Lady. Your first name is one of your grandparents’ names.
Your surname is the name of your first pet, double-barreled with the
name of the street you grew up on. Post yours here. Then cut and paste
it into your status.

Now, I know. If I was Royalty or simply Kate Middleton was my longtime girlfriend and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, my name would be….
Lady Dorothy Snirt of Rural Route One….or maybe not.
How about Lady Esther Beau of Belmont?
Are you watching the Royal wedding tomorrow? And most importantly what IS your royal wedding guest name?

Lady Florence Suzi and then I fall off because I live on 200 S. So lets back up the truck, and say it’s Lady Florence Suzi Fowler Ridge. There! That’s much better.

Yes I watched up to the kisses on the balcony. What a beautiful wedding!

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
