Ice, Ice Baby

Filed Under: Life in North Dakota Tagged With: North Dakota weather, prairie life Leave a Comment

While others are posting about gardens, daffodils and such Spring like things…
I must share our ICE.
Thankfully this ice has not taken down our power.
And we can only hope that our prairie Spring sunshine will soon melt the ice…and snow, slowly to prevent flooding. Then we will share in glorious green grass, daffodils, tulips and Spring planting and seeding.
Until then…
say a prayer for the prairie. We need this ice to disappear.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
