Wordless Wednesday: Where Does Your Olive Oil Come From?

Filed Under: America's Farm Table Tagged With: agriculture, California olive oil, know a California farmer, local food, wordless Wednesday 1 Comment

These olives were picked yesterday and then immediately pressed into extra virgin olive oil.
I along with four colleagues got to see it all happen along with plenty of tasting. It was the most amazing olive oil I have ever tasted.
But it’s a Wordless Wednesday…because I am trekking through airports to bring some olive oil back to the prairie and need to go board another plane.
Do you know where your olive oil comes from?
Tell me and I’ll share more of what I learned tomorrow very soon.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
