Last night I fed Anika a bowl of peas and then she got to feed herself some table food.
She was wildly thrilled with her own spaghetti and sweet potatoes.

Anika LOVES to play pat-a-cake. She also just starts to clap now anytime she is happy. This week she has started waving “bye bye” more often too.
I was doing the dishes last night, cleaning up Anika and talking to my dad on the phone. Nathan was gone. Hunter was still eating after his spring football camp. Elizabeth was playing in her kitchen. I turned my back and you can see above what happened. Miss E decided to come over to my kitchen and help by getting the dishwasher soap out of the unlocked cabinet behind her. Then after dumping the remainder of the box into the dishwasher, she tried to spoon it back into the box. Needless to say, our dishes were super duper squeaky clean last night.
A fresh picture from this morning of Hunter and Anika. Hunter gave Anika a bottle while I got Elizabeth ready for the day. He is a superb big brother and helper.
Anika is wearing an outfit that E wore at the same age in October 08. Anika cannot wear the same red shoes that E wore with the outfit because her feet are much smaller. But it is fun to compare the pictures and see the girls at the same age in the same clothes.
One common thread among all three kids are their sweet dimples and smiles!
