Sunday flu

Filed Under: Family Values Tagged With: family Leave a Comment

Last Sunday we had a lovely bridal shower for my sister. This Sunday I was suppose to host a shower for Kirsti in Jamestown. Instead I was stricken yet again another bout of yucky stomach flu, just after attending Beth Moore’s “So long Insecurity” simulcast (more on that this week).
Chalk this up to our family spending three of four weekends in April with stomach flu. Nathan has spent today disinfecting our home. Thankfully my mom and friends were able to pinch hit with style and grace and hold the shower with out me. I was very sad to miss it.
I am behind on posting pictures but above are a couple happy pictures from Carol’s birthday.
And another happy picture of Miss E driving tractor with Gpa Fred. Spring’s work has started on the farm.
Now, the extent of my Sunday blogging is complete. The post stomach flu symptoms include aches, pains and a large headache.
My bed is calling my name.

Welcome to the Prairie…

I am a mom of three kids and a wife to Nathan. Together we live on the North Dakota prairie, 97 miles from a Starbuck's. I share about family, food, farming and the prairie that I love. I used to commute 98 miles one-way to work but it required too much coffee. So now I am home, consulting, speaking, writing and primarily, juggling family life.
