This might be is one of my favorite pictures of Anika. It’s how she looks 99.9% of the time.
Content, sweet and happy.
After visiting airports in Bozeman, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Seattle, Calgary, Minneapolis and Bismarck, my husband picked me up and brought me home to these sweet faces today. The grind is not over yet but being home was the best thing for me. And the snow has melted. There is still some white stuff but a lot less along with less mud and less flooding. With the geese honking and cackling off in the distance, spring is officially around the corner.
If you are a Southern mom who spends way too much money putting your daughter into pageants please note I am thanking you. Thank you for having all of these custom clothes made and then letting me buy them from you on Ebay.
Miss E thanks you too. She was quite happy today to “open boxes!!!” with me that had arrived while I was gone.
Daddy deserves lots of kisses and E is really good at giving them.
I thought it would adorable if I could get the kids around each of their personalized rocking chairs today. Anika cooperated. Hunter cooperated…by kneeling behind his chair and not breaking it.
Elizabeth did not.
She would only sit in tears in Hunter’s chair. Another day.
Elizabeth has bigger things to deal with than sitting around because…
her sister is no longer just sitting back and watching her.
Anika officially started crawling last week on our vacation but I have been with out my camera to document it. Tonight Anika was into playing Candyland with her sister. Oh the adventures they will have.
We have a fun weekend planned and I’ll be posting pictures and stories…
It’s always an adventure on the prairie with the Pinke’s.

I LOVE it! I especially love the dress – isn’t E-Bay the best?! I also love that E refused to participate in the chair photo. Gotta love those strong-willed kids!
