The girls were spent after church at the farm today but they were still bedazzling in their new matching outfits so we attempted a Sunday’s best photo. Tired but sweet faces with Daddy. Anika’s shoes never stay on but believe me…she did have black patent leather shoes on too…before the above photo was taken.
This afternoon, Nathan trekked across the prairie in our overloaded Odyssey and drove the whole trip home with out stopping and we all napped. Hunter even missed the first quarter of the Vikings game from his napping! It was a wonderful long weekend at the farm. We are back into our weekly routine tomorrow morning. With Christmas concerts, parties and festivities just around the corner, the next few weeks are going to be eventful.
Speaking of eventful, E learned the intensity of family foosball games this weekend. She did not shy from the chaos and pulled up a stool next to the table to join in.
There are always foosball games and tournaments when my family gathers. Games lead to arguments as well as much laughter. Anywhere in the house you can hear shrieks coming from the basement when a game is going on. Give Miss E a few years and she won’t be satisfied as the score keeper and will be in the thick of action no doubt. The same will goes for Miss Anika. Not to worry for the girls though, big brother Hunter will make sure his sisters are well trained to become family champion foosball players.
